Dale Harrington, President

Dale became a member of the Walker Lecture Fund trustees in the Fall of 2012.

Dale and his wife Phyllis have called Concord home since his discharge from the Navy in 1969, joining the Concord Police Department where he learned the ins and outs of the city fast. Since retiring he's worked at many occupations, and since 1998 has been the web designer for the Friends of the AUDI and recently ended a two-year stint as the president of that organization.

Early in 2012 he was approached to design the website for the Walker Lecture Series and was happy to volunteer.

Dale assists with program acquisition and also serves as the advertising director, coordinating promotional activities for Lecture presenters and local media.

Allwynne Fine, Treasurer

Allwynne was elected to the Walker Lecture Fund trustees in 2011 and is now the treasurer. She served as house manager for the lecture series for many years prior to her election to the board.

Allwynne has been active in the arts community for over forty years and has served as president of the Community Players of Concord, the Friends of the Concord City Auditorium, the Concord Music Club, and the Junior Service League. She also served as treasurer for all and directed and produced several productions for all. In addition, she is currently the treasurer for the Concord TV board.

She believes that the Walker Lecture Fund, its series of programs each year as well as its support of other non-profit arts organizations, is a true gift to the citizens of our community and she is honored to serve as a trustee.
